New Book Available- Halstead Grammar School History and Memories
We have produced a book about Halstead Grammar School (see above) and are still looking for any memories, humorous or otherwise, from people who went there and would be happy to have them published - whether it is first-hand or something you were told by your mum, grandma, sister or whoever. Any reminiscences from the 50s, 60s ot 70s would be fantastic, but earlier anecdotes are also more than welcome. Were you in any school teams or plays, which teachers did you like best and why, what did you think of the uniform, misdemeanours and of course school dinners! Our web pages show photos that we already have, but if you have others, especially snapshots, that you would be happy to share, we would love to have copies.
